The current processes of the 3PL and client customer are analyzed and reengineered to ensure optimum efficiency. Exotrac’s cloud- based software platform ensures that the yard, dock and security gate operations become the portal through which transactions and physical activity become visible data in real- time enabling rapid decisions and proactive planning. At the security gate the android tablet captures critical data that is matched with the scheduled dock arrival plan, followed by the placement of a passive barcode on the trailer/container for identification purposes. Exotrac’s interface with the TMS allows visibility of tr ailer/container contents (to SKU level) that when matched with the predetermined user- based prioritization rules allows immediacy of processing at the dock or staging within the yard whichever is appropriate. The system facilitates cross- docking ensuring flexibility to adjust “on the fly” to the changing needs of the operation.

The interoperability of Exotrac’s cloud- based software provides the 3PL expandability and flexibility necessary to adjust to client customer’s changing needs and operating conditions.
